Terry Byrne is a writer with more than three decades as an arts journalist (Boston Magazine, Boston Herald, WGBH-TV’s “Greater Boston,” the Boston Globe), as well as 15 years’ experience in development communications for nonprofit organizations. She currently writes theater columns and reviews for the Boston Globe while serving as the Senior Director of Development Communications at Massachusetts General Hospital. She has a BA from Boston College and an MFA in Playwriting from Boston University.
Terry and her husband Larry Dalton have lived in Woburn for 33 years, and their children attended St. Charles School and Woburn Public High School. Terry has served on the Woburn Library Foundation Board during the run-up and through the completion of the renovation and expansion of the H.H. Richardson landmark, researching grants, writing stories, and fundraising appeals.
Terry works with the Know Your Neighbor Woburn Board and Organizers to research, initiate, and write grant applications and support its overall development efforts.
